Bottlehead Kaiju 300B Amplifier Kit
Kaiju is our premium 300B power amplifier designed for those who want both finesse and muscle. Delivering 8 watts per channel with classic triode richness and outstanding clarity, it’s a powerful partner for high-efficiency speakers. Whether you’re driving full-range drivers or classic horns, Kaiju’s spacious soundstage and articulate dynamics bring music to life with authority. Kaijus can also be wired as monoblocks to double their power output - just buy a second kit and we'll help you configure your build to accommodate.
You can learn more about the DC Filament Supply upgrade for this kit, which lowers the (already low) level of noise in super efficient speakers at this link.
We consider the Kaiju to be a level three kit, which means that we still think anyone can build it, but less experienced builders might want to cut their teeth on a couple smaller soldering projects first.
The Kaiju has a universal power transformer and can be used worldwide by following the wiring instructions in the manual. Please note that International customers will need to provide their own power cord.
Our kits do not come with a badge, but you can buy one here. Because of a weird quirk in Shopify's shipping, international customers will need to drop a request in their amp's order notes instead of adding one to cart.
