The difference is audible. Rather than trying to come up with some far fetched theory like most cable manufacturers I will simply state that I find that it makes our gear sound better than the stock power cord and leave it at that.
These cords are about six feet in length (you're hand-twisting the wires, so some variablity is expected) and include a hospital-grade, three pronged plug. These connectors work on US-style wall outlets; please do not purchase if you are outside of the US (or if your wall plug isn't using US-style outlets).
